Respecting Others

Everyone is the master of their bodies,

Their consent is the only thing that matters.

Respect is needed to avoid hurting others,

One must remember that he or she,

Is someone's son or daughter.

When everyone goes out at night,

In the the bright new york city lights.

It is okay to go out to the club or bar,

But make sure you don't take it too far.

The consent to another person can't be inferred,

A sober, consent YES must be heard.

But at the same time,

You can't misinterpret his or her word.

Respect is needed for a safe community,

Act to others as you would want to be treated.

Be smart so your actions you won't regret,

With sexual respect, a safer campus we will get.
